Christmas Eve With Kids

So as far as family traditions go, my husband and I have decided that each year on Christmas Eve we are going to allow our three children to open one gift each and a joint gift. That gift will consist of a new pair of pajamas and snacks. The joint gift will contain a new movie (preferably a Christmas related movie). Then on Christmas eve night, we will all sit down in our new pajamas with our snacks and watch the new movie before bedtime. What are your thoughts?

That is a great tradition to have. My family did the same thing kind of when I was a kid growing up. We would go to a Christmas eve service at church. After that we would come home and we would get to open up one gift each. Then we would watch a Christmas movie while having snacks and hanging out.
