How is everyone?

For me it's opening presents. We get up at 7am and we all run downstairs and one by one we open presents, we do that because it's great to see everyone opening their presents and seeing their reactions. But we also think about the religious side too. What do you do first?

For us we always have breakfast first before we open up the presents. As a Kid I always hated this part because I wanted to open up the presents first. Now I don't mind having breakfast first. The presents can wait. After breakfast which is around 9am then we open up all the presents.

Years ago when our children were young we use to open gifts aroung 4am *Childrens Idea not ours!" lol
These days we have a much slower christmas now and save our gifts to around mid afternoon and as we eat in the evening we usually stick to that same routeen on Christmas day!

That would be horrible to open gives around 4am. What were the kids thinking? lol The only good thing about that is you can be playing with your gifts nice and early and for the rest of the day. |

We usually do breakfast around 9am then move on to gifts afterwards. Though my mom is doing Christmas on Christmas Eve now, so not sure what we are doing at her house  |
